Personal Touch

I have always been a fan of handwritten thank you notes. I have viewed those candidates who interviewed with me and followed up with a handwritten note in a more positive light. With the number of emails that come into my inbox I get a bit overwhelmed and hit delete on many after reading the subject and first sentence.

In a world with so much digital clutter it is nice to step away from the monitor to read a personal note from someone. I know they took the time and put some thought into it rather than just tapping out an email.
